Watching a video from The Met Report is FREE but you might need to download a player first. As of now you have three choices: QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows Media. These can be downloaded at the sites linked below, although you may have to do some hunting to find the free versions.

If you are not sure if you have one of the players yet, then try clicking on one of the videos on the
homepage.

Viewing Tips: The quality of your viewing experience depends upon the speed of your Internet connection, also known as bandwidth. If you are using a dial-up connection, we suggest you select a "Low" speed format to ensure smoothly streaming video. If you have a broadband connection (e.g., DSL, cable modem or T1), you might be able to play films in our "High" speed format with increased quality.

QuickTime offers a "Don't Know" option which will automatically pick the best available quality for your current connection speed.

There are no hard-and-fast rules. Sometimes the Internet gets clogged with traffic, and your connection's speed can vary. Try experimenting with different speeds to see which works best for you.
